Bum! Have a great trip and we'll do lunch when you get back. Where did you get all those panoramics?

When I was attending SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry (ESF), me and bunch of my classmates spent 5 weeks at Cranberry Lake Biological Station. It was a wonderful time doing field studies and classes in the wilds of NY state's Adirondack Mountains. Not to mention the canoeing and fishing trips each evening.

Makes me want to sell all our stock (what little there is left!) and run out and buy the best camera in the world. Those are some wonderful pictures!!!!!!

It's totally weird, but I feel like that place is home. Where is this by the way? I don't know much about it.

Simply stunning. :)


I love the panoramic pictures - so much of landscape beauty is lost in a normal picture frame. The true beauty is in the vista and expanse - the true sweep of the eye.

Thanks for sharing this great FPP and have a WONDERFUL time this weekend. :)

Wonderful pics Bernie! Reminds me of Sudbury and the Temagami area.... the later area is the most pristine wilderness I have ever seen! Just beautiful! :)
