Just recieved an email for Free Quick Service Dining for stays between August 1-October 2! I have already booked POFQ with a 30% off pin I received last week, but might give that up for the free food! Anyone else get one of these?

I got a pin today for Free Disney Dining Plan at Moderate and Delux resorts and Free Disney Quick Service Dining Plan at Value resorts.

Must stay 5 days and includes park tickets. Good between August 15th and October 2nd.

That seems different than the offer the OP mentioned.

There must be a lot of variations of the offer.

Today I got one:

Get FREE* Dining
Enjoy the Disney Dining Plan, FREE* when you purchase a 5-night/5-day, non-discounted Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package that includes accommodations at select Disney Moderate Resorts, select Disney Deluxe Resorts or select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, plus Theme Park tickets!

Notice, there is no mention of Value resorts at all, whereas yours mentions QSFD at Value resorts.

Should I take this as meaning WDW wants me to take the plunge and move up from my Value resorts?! :goodvibes Sorry!! No can do! We lo-o-o-ove our Value resorts!! :cloud9:

I wonder if this means they aren't going to be offering free dining to the general public? I would definately like the regular free dining than quick service, but if thats all I got then thats all I got!!

Does it say that you must purchase length of stay park tickets, or just one day park tickets for everyone in the room. I already have a bounceback free dining that I booked last fall for this fall. It was the basic DDP for all level of resorts and only a one day park ticket was required. However, last spring they had the buy 4 get 3 nights free deal. It required only one day park tickets, but when the same deal came out for this spring it required length of stay tickets, which seemed to be a slap in the face to AP holders. I just wonder if it's going to be the same for the general public free dining offer for 2010.:confused3

I also notice the dates are just a little different from the bounceback free dining. Bounceback free dining reservations had to start before Sept 30th, whereas with this new offer you can check in by Oct 2nd and get free dining. That's the weekend we wanted to go (due to the Food & Wine Festival starting that weekend), but instead because our vacations must run Sat-Sun, our dates had to be Sept 25th-Oct 3rd, which means we get only two days of the F&W Festival. :confused3:mad: I'd love to be able to move our trip back a week and still keep free dining.

I'd make sure that 30% off the resort plus a purchased QSDP isn't a better deal than free QSDP and a rack rate resort. If it's a moderate you might make out better with the room discount.

There are apparently a lot of different PIN offers coming out right now. These aren't general public offers. A PIN code can be used only by the person who receives it. Some of these offers are free dining and some are not; some are different types of dining plan free at different types of resort; and apparently there are even PINs for some type of free dining in late April through May. The PINs I've seen require a 5-night stay.

I'd also call and make sure they are not requiring the purchase of length of stay tickets with the package for the PIN offers. I also wouldn't count out a general public free dining offer for August-September because they usually send PIN offers out before that is released. I still don't think it should be anticipated with any certainty that there will be a general public offer for October-December though.

That's what I am wondering? At $30 per person per night to add Quick service to my already discounted room is an extra $960 for a total of $3298. To give up my room discount and take the free Quick service will cost an extra $400 for a total of $2747. Seems like a no brainer? But how many times does Disney like you changing your reservation? Because, if the regular Free Dining offer comes out like past years I would be changing again!:rotfl:

My offer is:

Get FREE* Dining!

Enjoy the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, FREE* when you purchase a 5-night/5-day, non-discounted Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package that includes accommodations at select Disney Resorts, plus Theme Park tickets!

We're planning a trip for Sept.25-Oct2. We are staying in a moderate resort (FWC) with 6 people. Would the free dining plan offer include 6 people which our room allows, or is it limited to 4?

Thanks

If the free dining offer is applicable to Fort Wilderness Cabins, then yes it will apply to all persons registered in your room.

Doesn't the free dining plan usually include the Fort Wilderness Cabins?
