Same as last year, where it's QS plan at value resorts, 8/15-10/2 this year.
Can we expect a Disney Visa cardholder and then general public discount like this? (I'm guessing yes)

That's odd... I got both in the same email in a two-column kind of format.

Very very interesting. Just for the record, this seems a bit early for free dining announcements, doesn't it?

Looks like we've all got the same dates, just slightly different offers. :confused3

The only offer I got was for the Free Quick Service at a value. Perhaps it is because I have always stayed at a value resort LOL.
That is about to change with my DVC membership however.

I am jealous. I still haven't recieved anything. I am wondering since I am already booked for a different time period, if I will just get overlooked?!? :( Makes me sad. I would really like free dining. It would save us some money. I would probably just upgrade to a deluxe with the difference. :( :(

I have gone twice in 2 years and I still have not received a pin......:sad2: Maybe sometime today I can only pray to the pixie dust gods to spread some magic my way but congrats to all that have gotten one.

I got one yesterday for a $500 gift card for a 5 day vacation package from May - August 14th. Considering anyone can go to the website and get a $750 gift card for May this code sucks. I don't think it is a good value anyway.

i just got one too via email- i was thinking maybe me registering on the hawaii resort page for updates triggered it, but sounds like a lot went out. mine is different from all of yours- for up to 30% off deluxe villa resorts (and 25% at deluxe, 20% at mods and 15% at value) from may 1-aug 14. first pin i have ever received. not sure we will be able to use it, but sent to DH anyway.
DH got the free dining postcard one last year, but then they opened up the free dining to all anyhow.

we would consider going this year if we had free dining. I got a crappy one yesterday for 4th night free and a $300 gift card. I guess we will just wait for next year :)

we went last year during free dining and it was great!! I couldn't afford to stay at a mod though:(

You can never be sure of what Disney is up to, but based on what I've seen in the past day or two, then assuming they don't suddenly fill up all their hotels for later this year, I suspect you'll see it released, maybe in March (just a guess), but probably with identical terms to what has been described... 8/15-10/2, 5 or more nights, QS plan if you stay in a value, DDP otherwise.

I got one last year and would like to book a Dec 2010 trip. What can I do to increase my odds of getting one? Or can I use one from someone else who does not want to use theirs??
Thanks!!

Short answers:

It's unknown exactly how they figure it out. Some people suggest signing up for newsletters and other disney email lists, though I don't know what if any difference any of that makes. Some people say travel there often, others say don't travel for a while. In other words, :confused3
Or can I use one from someone else who does not want to use theirs??
Unfortunately, no. That said, general public discounts often follow not far behind pin codes.
