??? About Concierge Collection and problems with your rooms..

The Plaza or Shelburne thread got me thinking........ (always a bad sign) :teeth:

I know some of you have had bad experiences with some rooms at The Plaza (and other CC Hotels) How receptive was the staff to your complaints and do you feel that you were treated differently (for the better or for worse) because you stayed on points?

DOes that make sense?

I daughter and son-in-law stayed for 2 night at the Plaza. When they checked in they found their room was dirty. They asked for someone to clean it and it still wan't clean. The bathroom was very dirty. They were upgraded to a much better room and the points stayed the same. I haven't found that we get less service because we used points. They still get their money and no one really knows that you stayed on DVC points. We had great service at the Marriott we traded to also.

We have stayed at the Equinox in Manchester VT, the Sagamore at Bolton Landing, NY and Juniper Hill in Windsor, VT and received exceptional service. We were treated just like any other guest and actually better in some cases. Juniper Hill gave us a coffee mug as a gift from the DVC.
