I have seen Mickey in wearing many different Ethnic Fashions in EPCOT over the years. Why is it then that at his house in Mickey's Toontown these outfits are missing????
Is someone stealing these ensembles???? :(
If so has anyone seen them for sale on ebay???
Or is Minnie trying to dress him again????
Jasmine.... we need security to look into this please. ;)

As WDWWDS VP of International Affairs, I must speculate and say that Mickey has a private dressing room in each of the World Showcase pavilions, where he may go and slip into the fashion of the moment.
Frankly, I never saw any of the many outfits that Mickey Sports in Fantasmic in his ToonTown closet, either..........

What's more - I don't think that I have ever seen his Fantasia outfit at his house either?!?
Maybe Stitch destroyed 'em...

I don't know what's more shocking....the subject of this thread or the fact that IASWRider posted in the middle of the night!
Congratulations MBabe!

This is a serious situation .... hmmm .... I wonder if there is some exclusive outfit agreement with each WS sponsor? For instance, American Express, which sponsors the American Adventure, owns the colonial garb and Mickey wears it ... sort of how the clothing works for TV folks?

Kim Possible here - aka Dynamo
I will personally look into Mickey's Missing Mousewear - I'll start by questioning a certain striped bouncy animal...

Hmmmm.....This is interesting....I never put much thought into Mickey's wardrobe...maybe he has another house that he doesn't let the public see where he keeps the good stuff (like Walt's frozen remains???)
I mean, he must have to take high security measures--I would think that theft would be a problem...do you know how much and original Mouse ensamble would go for on E-Bay....thousands I would say!!!
Kim--we need you on this ASAP--the WDWWDS must protect the Mouse's closet at all costs!!!!!!!!!!

Okay troops, before we jump to conclussion here we need to determine whether the outfits are actually missing or held at another location. I say we all split up and start looking around and asking questions. I think Jen may be onto something. Why don't you explore that further.

I have heard that Mickey entertains important guests and dignitaries in the Castle Apartment.... I'll go check there.....

Hey MickeyBabe,
I think I saw a drawing of Mickey's clothes hanging on the clothesline on Snow White's Scary Adventures. I think they're
Mickey's clothes because the boxers had little Mickey's on them.
I wonder if S.W. is in charge of Mickey's wardrobe? Hmmm. . . .

Hmmmm, I wonder if Minnie knows??????

 Jasmine....MickeyBabe (looking disheveled and covered with cobwebs) reporting back form her mission at the Castle ...
All I found at the castle apartment was some old telephone switch boards.....
Lisa, Thanks for the info on Snow White....... I'll check that out next.
No Higgs..... MM & MM are a solid couple .... even though he has a fear of committment ;)
My guess is that If you needed someone to do your laundry... you could slip it in with all of those Dwarf work clothes and it may go unnoticed.

You know...I think the same person(s) who may have made off with the Mouse's wardrobe just may be the same people responsible for the theft of all of Donald Duck's pants....we need to investigate this...after all these years, that duck needs pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:bounce: Higgs... You never cease to amuse me!!!! Thanks to be the first to start a second page on my thread and your 777th post at that!!!! :bounce:
Actually I think Donald's little tail is cute... I have a picture of me kissing him on the beak on my honeymoon!!!!
I'm currently following up a lead on International Clothing at IASW... I plan on wearing my ear plugs so I don't have the same problem Distriv had earlier this week.... Wish me luck!!

Good luck MBabe!
Don't let the puppets get to you...once that song gets to you, there's no going back.....
BTW...I never said anything about Donald not being cute...it just seems odd to me that an almost 70-year-old duck is walking around pantsless among young children....
And don't even get me started on Huey, Dewey, and Louie..."nephews"...yeah, right!

Well, Tigger is clean (see photo of me frisking him below). He was hiding a few ladies undergarments, but no Mickeywear.
Has anybody looked under the Goofster's ears? You could probably hide a few small children under those babies.

As WDWWDS manager of costuming (see avatar), I shall get on this case at once.
Higgs, you make a good point. Also, why does Goofy wear pants, but Pluto doesn't? I find that odd . . . . maybe he left them at Mickey's other house. Maybe they are just out for 24-hour martinizing.
edit: I'm sure Miss Cleo can solve this mystery
MickeyBabe
07-27-2002, 12:26 PM
mclar I'm not sure.... but I heard Miss Cleo is in Jail!!!!
 Wonder if she saw that comming? ;)
Maybe OT turned her in for that Blue Ball incident. :( :( :( :(
Well I didn't find out anything at IASW ........ I do recall Gangster Weasels in Mr. Toads Wild Ride.... Perhaps they are getting revenge for losing thier jobs!!!!
I'll have security look into thier whereabouts.......Miss Jasmine!!!! :bounce:

Hey all. I was discussing the case of Mickey's missing pants with my wife and she said she suspects Cinderella is hiding them under her dress. Being the dedicated WDWWDS member I am, I will volunteer for this dangerous mission and check out what is under Cindy's dress. While I'm at it, I'll also check out Snow White, Belle and Pocahontas. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. Might as well be me. ;)

MickeyBabe -- when we arrive at WDW on Monday, I have already told my group that this is our #1 PRIORITY!!!
I don't have internet access at the Mouse House, but I will definitely find a way if we come across any new info that will help you out!
Of course, we have to stop for a Dole Whip, for nutrition, before we begin our sleuthing.

Sooo...I will have to go with you! It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it!

Higgs... I think Dave has things "under" control...but you could check out Minnie, Daisy and Clara Belle Cow!! ;)
Ok...ok...ok... You can check on Princess Jasmine (Not our security chief), Esmerelda, and Jessica Rabbit.... now you hurry back as soon as you're done! ;)

Well, I'm back. I have three very well defined hand prints on my face (man, those girls hit hard!), but no Mickey pants. Higgs, make sure you learn to duck faster than I did.
Has anyone looked on the Riverboat at the end of Splash yet? How about the one in Fantasmic? Those would be great places for someone to hide things while we're all distracted by the beauty of the waters.

OK who is up for riding Splash with me? We need to go in teams to make sure we aren't drawn into the water.

Dave, Dave, Dave...
It's all in the technique my friend...if I wasn't a happily married man, I would have dates for the rest of the week...alas, I know my DW wouldn't approve...
Anyway, count me in on Splash Mountain...I need some cool waters right now ;)

target practice went rather well - I saw IASW rider and didnt hit her (contrary to what SHE might say)
...found the gangsters...ummm...they said that they don't know anything - and I am gonna have to believe them.
I mean ALL they kept saying OVER and OVER and OVER again was:
"...Red light? I hate red lights!" AND "Everybody mind your p's and q's, and maybe nobody'll get hurt..."
it was ALMOST as mind boggling as the valley of the dolls....

Well, no Mickey suits other than the "usual" one at Fantasmic. I wonder if maybe someone left them at the Grand Floridian. I may have to go to the concierge section for a few days to check this out.

You mission... If you choose to accept it is to check out this thread to see if they have corrupted Mickey and stolen his shorts!!!!!! Please report back with your findings...

You know, I can't believe that I did not receive one single e-mail update about this thread, so I haven't looked at it since I posted (yes, in the middle of the night, Granny!) many days ago! :( I was even clueless as Madonna was taking target practice in my beloved IASW (I guess I mistook the shots for the pounding drums of the Polynesian room!)! Speaking of "Polynesian", Mickey's wardrobe is not there. I did find Minnie's cool, fuscia grass skirt outfit, though!

Guys....guys....guys..... anyone out there? Oh hi ISAW, nice to see you again....it has been quiet around here lately... I hope all of our troops have lots to report..... Mickey is beginning to wonder if we are taking this seriously. ;)
Your go and check PPF I think I may have seen some laundry there... I'll go check the GMR.....

OK, we have another suspect.
None other than that supposedly loveable bear, Pooh.
That honey pot of his is awefully suspicious. Could he be hiding Mickey's clothes in there? I mean, is that silly smile on his face just a ruse to distract us from his evil plot of making Mickey wear the same clothes over and over? And, besides, where are his pants?
We need one of our sweet ladies to casually approach that bear and check out his honey pot. Any volunteers?

Hmm....has anyone checked in Minnie's closet? Or under her bed?
