All Ocotber 10, 2010 Escape Brides-WDW

We spoke with the Planners today and were informed that there is going to have to be a lottery for all the locations and times for October 10,2010 Escape Weddings. Sea Breeze Pointe & Wedding Pavillion are full! Escape Brides can still be "penciled in" at other locations, but all locations and times have multiple requests; I believe they said 15 weddings for the remaining locations, so far. SBP & WP went to the Wishes girls. So a lottery it is. I do not know when the do the draw. So most should get the 10th as their date, however you may have to be flexible with your times, but some will have to have back up plans like the Swan & Dolphin, Fulton's Crab House etc or change the date completely.
Sorry for the news. WDW Planners were taken aback by the popularity of this date, especially with the economy.

I can imagine 10.10.10 is a very popular date to get married! I know someone who has that date (non Disney though) ..I hope all the Brides & Grooms get what they want! :goodvibes

I paid my deposit to the UK travel agent LAST APRIL!!!! I checked with WDW when the travel agent discovered they could not book until 8 months out and they said they couldn't see a problem with that date since we are flexible about the time and want the yacht club gazebo, but I shall be GUTTED if I don't get 10/10/10 having PAID the deposit 18 MONTHS prior to the date!!!!!

I have sent an e mail to wdw / Vita, and am PRAYING we can get it!

I beleive most everyone will get their date. You might have to change times unless you are a Wishes Wedding. You can pencil in for the Gazebo. Make sure you do this, so that you can be in the lottery for that location's time slots. Also the Swan & Dolphin have great prices and reviews. You can even have the Disney Characters at your wedding. You might want to contact them, if you are set on the 10th, which coming from across the pond, it sounds like you must be. We all must breathe and know that all will work out one way or another. We'll all know our locations & times come February 11th, hopefully. Happy thoughts!!!:rolleyes1
