EEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!
I found a PRAYING MANTIS on my daylily today! I know they are great for your garden, but it is so gross! Does anyone know about these guys? Do they tend to stick around (I hope not!) and how do they get around - fly or what? I may never go near my flowers again without careful inspection first - LOL!

LOL! They are kind of creepy - especially if one flys and lands on you. EWWWWwwwww!
I had that happen once. We occassionally get a bunch of them around here (bumper crop). One year we had a tremendous amount - way above normal. There would be literally a dozen on every side of the house and every where else you looked. We were unloading some hay and a big old tan colored one flew into my hair! I ran around freaking out and trying to shake him out.... poor thing probably got a few antennae bent by me that day! LOL!
