Explorers hotel question...

Hi there, just signed up on this forum as we have booked a week at DLP in June.

We have been once before,a bout 6 years ago though! But this time we are staying off site at the Explorers Hotel. I was just wondering if anybody could recommend the best way to get to this hotel from CDG airport??

I was pondering just getting a cab upon arrival, but I'm aware this may not be the cheapest option.

Hi. Really depends on how many of you there are.
Taxi for larger families (we paid about £170 return), or the coach if there are 4 or less I would say.
The VEA coach drops off outside Disney Village, then there's another shuttle to the Explorers.

Good point, there will be five of us going, 2 adults 3 kids, so the taxi option certainly seems the least hassle in getting to the hotel with luggage, etc.

Any thoughts on whether it is better to pre-book or just pick one up outside the airport?

I have used BS Transport on our last 2 visits as recommended by the folks on here :thumbsup2

They have always been waiting for us on arrival and we have had great service from them. I have always prebooked online and paid at arrival to our hotel.

With 5 in your party, you will be cheaper and quicker using a private shuttle transfer - if you book in advance, you will get the best rates.

rs/bs transports get repeat booking from our members here, as do ezyshuttle. If you have a look in our Very Useful Information sticky thread, in "getting to DLP by plane" we have links etc there for transfer companies.

ive booked john at ezzy shuttle I mentioned this site snd he gave us a good rate of 120euros each way (and thats for 12 of us) he seemed really friendly ,not used him before but he,s had ood reports on here ,have also used rs transports and found them very professional .

Twice now and they are reliable and make better use of your time than waiting 1.5 hrs for the VEA bus.
