When did you get "penciled in"?

I spoke to someone from DFTW yesterday, and figured I would be able to get penciled in. I was told by many to call since I am inside the 18mo. mark. I was told to call back in early April to get penciled in, and then I can get my date confirmed and my LOA in May, 12 mo. out (I was told I can get confirmed at 12mo. rather than 8mo. because I am using WP/ADH.) I was just wondering when others got penciled in? I don't really see the point if it's only 1 mo. before being confirmed?

We were penciled in last week for Dec 7 (we want the 7, 8, 14 or 15) and we can't be official until April. Bill is the one that pencil'd us in, maybe he can pull some strings for you :rolleyes1

We were pencilled in just under the 12 month mark, were having an escape wedding.

being pencilled in doesn't really mean anything so it doesn't matter if its now or 1 month before, if someone else wants the same as you you'll go into the lottery.
