Pool @ Courtyard Marriott in DD...... just wondering what past guests thought of the pool. My DD is a big fan of swimming and I am wondering if she is going to be very disappointed? We have stayed at CSR and CR and she loved the pool at both. I know CTYD doesn't have a slide, but as long as it's clean, large, and not freezing she will probably have a grand ol' time. Any opinions would be appreciated!

When we went to Courtyard DD in May 2001, the pools were clean and very warm. They are not real big pools, (there are 2) but htey are nice. My kids were 7 &9 then and thought the pools were great!!

Thank you so much for your reply. It is a relief to hear that the pools are clean and warm. If your 7 & 9 y/o's thought they were great, I know my DD 8 will not be disappointed! Thanks again.

How deep are the pools? We will be there in August.

We will also be there in August, and plan to take advantage of the pools the 1st night we get there to unwind. Does anyone know what time the pools close? We will probably not check in until around 6, and then grab something to eat at DTD.

My kids have enjoyed some nicely themed resort pools. I thought we might be disappointed in the courtyard pool during our vacation last September but I was just glad to have a pool to get into! The kids saw my grateful attitude and they took their cues from me. It was a pool and we had fun swimming!
