I was consolidating some movies from way back when and came across some clips from our first real trip to WDW back in May 1977 and created a couple of pics (sorry for the quality since these were transferred by using my digital camera in movie mode while playing the super 8mm movie onto a sheet of paper ... too cheap to get them professionally transferred)
The boat used on Bay Lake. Can't remember where it went to/from, but it looks like from my video it at least went to MK from somewhere.:confused3

Three pics of the raised walkway around Discovery Island. IIRC it went thru several enclosed aviaries.

Well those are individual frames from the movies I took and somewhere I thought I had almost the entire original Electrical Light Parade that I shot at DL back around 1976, but can't seem to find it now. The pics I posted above are the most interesting. I do have almost the entire bicentennial parade done in 1976 at DL. I wish I could post avi/mpg files, but evidently DIS limits it to still pics and not videos.

Someday I will have to dig around and see if I have my old pics from my first trip to the Fort for Christmas 1977. Would be fun to see what I have. I love the old shots of the boats, for instance.
I took pictures on that trip with an old 110 instamatic camera, with the flash bar on top. i remember watching the MK parade and taking a picture of Chip and Dale. The flash bar was defective, and when I pressed the shutter the entire bar discharged, practically blinding poor Chip and Dale. They waved their hands in front of their eyes to dramatize the whole thing...it was pretty funny. I was 9 years old but remember it like it was yesterday.

I vaguely remember my first trip to Disney, in 1977 also. We stayed at the Fort, when apparently they used to rent out travel trailers. I barely remember it, but for some reason the fact that it was on "Jack Rabbit Run" has stuck with me!
I wish I knew if my parents had pictures lying around somewhere!

It's weird how that works. My first trip was also in 1977 and in a rental trailer... 1313 Tumbleweed Turn :thumbsup2
How you remember that after 30 plus years is beyond me :confused3
