We're planning our 3rd trip for September, 4 nights 2 adults 1 teen 1 child (when the schools have gone back) and are definately going to book DLH but wondering if we should splurge and go for Castle Club or go for a larger room and book a family room. Can't find much info about the family rooms, photos etc so just wondered if anyone had stayed in one if they could give me an idea of size -v- standard room. Also regarding the CC I know about the perks ie vip fastpass, private lift etc etc but how does the actual room compare to the standard rooms. Thanks in advance for any help

I thought the only difference to the family room was that it can sleep 5, so has an extra single bed? Not sure you'll be able to book one for 4 people? :confused3

The problem with CC is that it isn't included in any of the offers, so the final quote on the phone can be a big surprise as looking at a regular room on line it may have included kids go free offers or something like that.

From the photos i've seen on the sticky thread, the standard rooms are the same as the Castle Club rooms.
I had enquired about family room and was told that it is the same as standard room, but with an extra single bed. I thought the rooms were big enough to hold this.
As others have said, the deals don't seem to include CC, but on the last deal family rooms were included, which is something they seem to have just introduced.
If you check the hotel section on the sticky, one member has a whole website dedicated to CC, so that might be of some use to you.

I found the CC room appeared no bigger than the standard room - it had extras - coffee maker, DVD etc but the room itself seemed much the same.

I've stayed in a family room at DLH. It was bigger than a standard room with an extra single bed (covered with a throw and cushions in an attempt to look like a settee) The family rooms tend to be located where the corridors turn a corner if you can find a map of the hotel, so although bigger they are a funny shape.
The room had no extra facilities than a standard room, although we did get a welcome card, roses in a vase and a bottle of sparkling water which we didn't get in the standard.
