This butterfly was hungry, too. Every time he would get spooked, he'd move to another branch or the other bush. He'd never leave. Chris got bolder and shook the branch, so he'd move to a better vista. He would, too. Then another one showed up, but it was getting too dark.

I'd love to see other large species like that.

WOW!!! Absolutely gorgeous! I have a heck of a time trying to take pictures of butterflies. They are terrific!!!!

Olena awesome pic. I have 2 butterfly bushes and yes they work. They also are a great fan of herbs.

I try to pick plants that draw wildlife to the yard. One of the things that really works is the lily pond. On any given day there has to be at least a 100 dragonflies and damselflies in the yard. Every color you can image green, blue, red, black and white that are so beautiful and beneficial. Along with the butterflies.

I love to just sit and watch nature at work.
