Ok here is one hopefully not over asked.. does Kidani have easily accessible bbq grills? We were at Vero in August and cooked up some chicken, hamburgers and hotdogs on the grills over there. It was wonderful to zap them later in the week for a quick and inexpensive meal. I noticed they had them at SSR and I assume at Kidani as well? I hear about these dreaded "walks" to everything and just thought I would see if anyone spotted them. Thanks!

Yes, Kidani has BBQ grills. On this map, the grills are at the orange circle at the bottom right, next to the shuffleboard and tennis courts.http://allears.net/acc/kidanimap1.jpg

The grills do not look close at all. Is this the case at all DVC resorts? We will be staying for our first time in July.

I would guess it all depends on where you were in the building. If on the 'right' side of this map, not so bad, if on the left side, pretty good walk.

I'm going on the assumption these are just open grate 'state park' style grills that you use charcoal in? Do these get used a lot or not so much?

Well when we were at VB last year the grils were REALLY far but at SSR they were pretty close to our building.

Correct, these grills are the open style front with Charcoal type.

As for the second question, it seems like WAY too much work for my tastes while on vacation, but I don't actually know how many people actually use them.
