We might go to San Diego in March. It will be a totally budget trip (no Sea World, or Zoo) so I thought we really like to seek out cool places to eat (kind of like entertainment and food all in one).

We like Rubys Diner on the Oceanside pier for example and the Mexican restaurants at Old Town. Any other really neat places we should try?

TIA,
Kelly

Corvette Diner is definately a fave for my fam. The restaurant's theme is 1950/60's & the wait staff are really fun bc they can have over the top personalities. They even have a small arcade too, but I've never tried it out.
They have your typical diner food like burgers, sandwiches, dinner meals, shakes, etc.
The only thing is, is that ever since they moved to their current location, it can be hard to find bc it's in Liberty Station which can be really confusing, but I love eating @ that restaurant.

Just letting you know that the Mexican restaurant is no longer in Old Town. It is now in Grossmont Center in La Mesa. We went there last Christmas and it was still as good as ever. We sat in the courtyard and loved it.
