Boat Rentals at OKW Less than 2 Weeks Away
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
I am going in less than 2 weeks and want to rent various boats in the daytime. I know there are different sizes but I don't know anything about prices. I would like to rent a boat that 3-5 people can ride in. Can you rent by the day? cost? By the half hour what is the cost?

Also what is the best location to rent from? Which Hotel gives you the most exciting trip via boat from a standpoint of "things to see."

Thanks,
Melanie

Hey skipp, you can rent a Bass Tracker pontoon boat at the OKW marina, I Believe it was 32.00 per half hour. you could ride all the way to down town disney and back. it was a lot of fun, slow but fun.

have a great time.

the polyn would probably give you more to see, or the yc - however the dvc discount is not good at these places - I don't know if it is good at VWL, I know it is at OKW. you could probably go faster at VWl (it is a lake not a lagoon).

spiceycat,

Is the fact that the DVC discount isn't honored at the Poly to rent boats a newer policy? We have rented boats at most locations and have used our discount each time. But, we haven't done it in more than a year.

If you have an AM EX card it's it's either 10 or 15% off on a rental

Every location has it's own sights. Renting at Poly gives you a chance to go by the Contemporary, WL, DI, GF the MK ferry area etc. Renting at OKW let's you gp into the DD area and down by PO on winding rivers which is also nice. If you want to have a nice sightseeing ride allow an hours rental on the pontoon boats.
