Help with DVC availability

Hi there everyone.

I am new to the board and a new DVC member. I have a question to anyone out there. Although I am a new DVC member I am not officially in the system as of yet. I have bought a resale at the Boardwalk with my year beginning on October. The sale will not be final for at least a month. Until then I cannot find out if I can get a room for my trip Oct 1-6 using my new DVC.

If anyone who is a member would find it in their heart to inquire about availabilty for any one bedroom unit anywhere on the WDW property for me would be a big help. I already have a reservatin at the WL hotel that I made before the resale became available. Now I can possibly use my points instead of paying for the room. I don't want to inconvenience anyone or possibly break an rules that Disney might have, I just would like to know if I have a chance at reserving something with only a month's notice.

If no one if willing to do this, then is there anyone who could tell me from their own experiences if I have any chance at getting anything at all a month ahead of time.

If I was calling, I'd ask, but short of that, THe begining of OCt is before the Food and Wine Festival starts, you really should have no problem at all with a one bedroom.

A standard View at BWV would probably be tough, a GV anywhere would also be tough. I think you will have a choice of more than one resort.

I actually have this same problem and though I do not want anyone to inquire about availability for me I would like to know if I have a chance at a studio at OKW (preferably but would take any studio) the 3rd week of October (before the F&W Festival starts -- checking out the day it actually starts) calling to reserve within 6 weeks of checkin date.

All the DVC resorts have available for Oct 1 - 6 - BWV, BCV and VWl will be 166 - OKW will be less

Thanks for the reply, but I was wondering if you were able to check on the availablity for me. I am not able to call Disney and ask since I am not officially a member. I just want to know if I will have a difficult time getting ANYTHING with only a month's notice.
