Ok, am I just dumb or what?

So I was under the impression that you no longer get an appetizer with a TS meal on basic dining...correct? It has been that way for a few years....correct? I thought I knew all there was to know about the plan and then I happen to be scrolling through the info on the WDW website and it lists appetizer, entree, dessert for each member of the party!! Did I miss something?:confused3

Take another look...if you're looking at the basic dining plan, after the word "appetizer" you will see (ages 3-9 only).

That's right, kids get appetizers on the basic, but not adults. In the interest of full disclosure, kids have to order off the children's menu, and their "appetizers" are things like raw vegetables, a small green salad, or a small cup of soup.

no big...lots of folks don't see that, and get all excited about the appetizers.

The DDP (equivalent of today's basic DDP) was an awesome deal when it included appetizers and tips, so you can't blame anyone for getting excited.
