Hello...my DS hurt his left toe(nail ripped off by a skate) and it will be scabbed over at the time of our trip(next Sat)We expect him to be able to walk for most of the day, just want a back up in cse his foot gets sore...

Should I rent a stroller or bring one? Very torn as to the inconveinence of dragging one on the plane etc...

Any prices to rent? Rent from Disney

Thanks!

we ended up bringing one for our 5 yr old dd
She has a medical issue and gets tired fast
I looked into renting and if I remember right it was $16 a day and they were a hard plastic so not that comfortable from the looks of it

From the WDW website

Don't have kids anymore that need strollers but did notice that Disney sells umbrella type strollers. Note sure how much but it should be under the $30 mark. It might be worth while purchasing one instead of renting. I've also heard of people just leaving it behind when done with it or giving it to another family to use. Kind of like paying it forward. There are also some stroller swaps on the Dis boards you might want to look into. DD broke her toe the first night we arrived. Would have bought a stroller for her but I think she would have been a little embarassed since she was 15:lmao:

Good luck with you trip!

Since you are on a plane I would recommend bringing a stroller. My parents said that it was easier, so gate check my stroller, then when they got off the plane, they could put me in it, and not have to worry about me keeping up. It was easier for them that way.

I'm bringing my Maclaren for it's last hurrah! Our daughter is almost 6, but I know she'll need a break in the stroller if she gets tired or overstimulated during the day. It will be great for that and it has a strap for carrying to the plane, but might not make it home with us. I have no need for it, so I might just leave it. Horrible of me, but it's just taking up space at home and if we weren't going to WDW in two weeks, I would have tossed it last month when I found it while cleaning!

I would absolutely bring one, since renting won't cover you at the airport, DTD, and other places you may go.

Orlando stoller will deliver & pick up a stroller right to & from your hotel. My kids are a bit younger but it was awesome & it gives you extra storage to carry any extras (water, clothing & diapers in our case). Well worth the money IMO. Folds flat & much more comfortable than the plastic strollers they rent at WDW (cheaper too).

1-3 nights = $50
4-7 nights = $70
8-10 nights = $100
11-14 nights = $130

Good Luck and enjoy.

I like bringing one. I know how it works, I know all the quirks, and I then have it with me at the airport. Do you have an umbrella stroller? They are really very easy to get on and off the bus!
