My store has the regular Avery transfers, an off brand, and the Avery for dark fabric. I want the dark fabric transfers. Online I've seen stretchable, too. Is stretchable better than the regular dark transfers? They are so expensive that I want to get it right the first time. Thanks!

I don't know about the stretchable ones you found online...but the majority of DISers use and love Amy's transfer paper. I have used it and it doesn't run and/or crack like most store brands I have tried including Avery. I would suggest trying hers: www.amymickey.com

I will try Amy's for the next trip, but I just found these ideas last week and I'm out of time on shipping I think.

I had my order from Amy in 2 or 3 days. She is really fast!
Edited to add: Hey, I just noticed that we will be there at the same time! Cool! :cool1:

Yes, just PM'd her and I think I have time to get them. With the shipping included they are cheaper than the Avery dark transfers.
Have a great trip!

In case anyone is following this - Amy mailed my transfers Sat., Monday was a holiday, and I received them today (Tues). Great service. Can't wait to try them.

I believe so. I didn't see any choices and the ones I received are dark transfers. You can use them for light colored shirts (I used them on pink). In either case they will have a white border and a white background.
