I am planning on taking my 77 yr. old grandma to WDW and she has Parkinson's. I have been considering staying at a moderate hotel (hopefully PO-FQ), and would rent a car. She currently has a PD hangtag in my aunt's car (she lives with her son & his wife). I was thinking of renting a car for our stay and wanted to use the hang tag with the rental car (will be carrying either wheelchair or ecv). Can I do this, or must the tag stay with my aunt's vechicle only? if I can't use taht tag, how could I go about getting something similar for this trip?

Thank you for your help!

PS: Grandma's hangtag has her name on it, which i thought was unusual. Is it?

The hangtag is your grandmother's and goes with her. Yes you can use it with a rental as long as she is with you.

Just writing to agree with Lisa.
The hangtag is portable so it can be used in any vehicle your grandma is using.

Great, thanks for the info! I think going the route of renatl car at moderate might be more efficent for me than staying at the Contemporary, which was my original choice. It will just be the two of us (she hasn't been there since 1973). Thanks again!

My wedding is next June at Disney and we are trying to work out a way to bring my grandma too. She is 85 and has limited mobility due to arthritis. I was wondering if you have any advice. My mom is stressing out because she wants to spend time with me as the mother of the bride, but bringing my grandma will also be a full time job in itself.
