HELP! Does anyone know how I can book the $109 Fla Lotto rate online or do I need to call the hotel directly? Also I thought I saw a senior rate that was lower than this but I'm not sure where to find it now either! I'm looking for the "best available" rate for the timeframe of 8/7 - 8/19. Please help!

I believe you need to call the hotel directly to book this rate. When we went in June the senior rate was $125 (without the dinners), so the lottery ticket was by far a better deal. Good luck!

Call the hotel directly. That is what I did, as I was not successful in using the code from the Florida Lottery (FL USA) to reduce the $129 to $109.

Thanks to everyone for the useful information. I will try to contact the hotel directly to see if I can get the FLA Lottery rate of $109. Thanks again!

Rebecca,
My parents may be coming w/us on our Nov. trip. HIFS said that if we arrived w/seniors we too can get the reduced rate. They calculate it like this: 60-69 years old - $99.00/ 70-79 - $89.00/ 80-89 - $79 a night. If you are over 90, I think the hotel said its free:teeth:
Like previos posters have said, with the lottery rate its $109 & includes free meals, just call the hotel directly. I took the lottery rate over the senior rate. Even if we only eat 2 dinners w/our 2 children there, its a little cheaper than the $99.00 a nite rate.
Good luck!

Kathy,
Thanks for the info. I'm definitely going to go with the $109 FLA Lotto rate. With the meals included, you can't go wrong and as you said, even if we don't use them every night, it's still more economical.

Hi Rebecca,

I got the lottery rate at HIFS and I have an extra ticket if you need one. When I called the hotel, they just said I needed a loosing scratch and play FLUSA ticket to get the $109 rate.

Hi, I just got back from HIFS ( you can see my other post) and we stayed 5 nights with the lottery promo. When we checked in we didn't have the ticket yet and I asked if I could give it to them later and the gal that checked me in said no problem; I gave it to them later in the week. This is a terrific value. We spent very little on food during our 5 day stay there.
