7118 is a Category 5 with a transparent verandah railing. There is no connecting door to an adjacent stateroom, so the room should be pretty quiet. Your stateroom is located conveniently near the Aft stairs/elevators and also near a "secret" deck at the tail end of Deck 7. Deck 7 Aft is a public deck, but it's rather small and not many people know about it. It overlooks the fantail. There are lounge chairs and tables. But no services... so you'll need to bring your own beverages. It's nice for an escape from the crowds.

We once stayed in 7106, just down the hall, and loved this location. We usually stay in the Category 7's on deck 7, which are even closer to this cabin. As Dave noted, the proximity to both the elevators and the back deck are very nice perks for this location.
We were on the 7/6 Western and stayed in 7118! It was a great location, near the elevators, quiet, a short hop up the stairs to the beverage station, convenient to the laundry room, and the balcony was great. You will love it! We didn't notice the pull down bunk (if there was one) Are you travelling with 4 people? It was just my DH and me.
Good Luck!

Mrs G-
Thanks for the info. There are only 2 of us traveling.... Which excursions did you like best?
We'd never been to any places on the itinerary so we took the Conch Trolley Tour in Key West. It gave us a good feel for the place. Then we walked around. We took the Grand Cayman Island Tour and then did the Shipwreck Snorkling in the afternoon. And we did the Tulum Ruins in Cozumel. We were very happy with all the tours (including the beach break added to Tulum). Have a great time!
