I'm trying to work on an excel doc I want it create a graph of a survey of questions. Disney related of course

So say I have a column with the title Splash Mountain with the value random 1-5

how do I create a pie/bar chart showing the number who picked say 1 then 2 and so on....

eg. Splash mountain

4
3
3
2 now I want to show of the total 5 number 2was picked twice
3twice and 4 once

Does that make sense? Can anyone help?

You can set up a 2 column spread sheet. The first column would be the answers, then list 1-5. The second column would count the number of times each answer was chosen, so 1 would be 0, 2 would be 2 etc...

Highlight the information and create the chart as a bar chart. Go to the series tab, Excel originally had both columns as a series, but that doesn't work. The first column should be your category x labels. the second column would be the series.

The chart should appear with the numbers 1 - 5 across the bottom, and you will see bars for 2, 3, and 4.
