We are celebrating our 15th anniversary and the kids are staying home! We will be staying at CR for 4 days and 3 nights, arriving at 11am and departing at 4:40pm ... my question is this: Do we do regular dining or deluxe? We both enjoy a great meals and would want some signature ADRs but we also want to enjoy our time at the resort and parks... what would you do in my position? :confused3

With 2 adults I would definitely do deluxe. We really enjoy it. DBF loves the signature restaurants and if you do breakfast and a signature or lunch and a signature.....you will still have plenty of time at the parks plus some nice adult romantic time for dinners.

I know if I was going alone with my DH we would definitely do the deluxe plan.

Agree with the above. While it's a personal decision, I would personally choose deluxe in that situation.

The general strategy of breakfast or lunch plus signature dinner works fine (I would tend toward lunch over breakfast, to maximize AM park time, which is when you can get the most done), although I'd still consider one day of a pre-open character breakfast in the park, a later lunch (say, 1 or 2 PM), and then a later 1 TS dinner.

DH and I did basically the same thing last month- 4 days, 3 nights, DXDDP. Arrived at 10, left at 6. We had a late lunch, dinner, then B, L, D, then B, L, Sig (actually CP, but 2 credits each), then B and L. Worked out great for us, and a few of the meals we shared.

I really am thinking deluxe... b/c I know the regular plan won't be enough meals... but I get the feeling some of the deluxe plan may go to waste...

Nah, just eat signature every night and use any extra snack credits to bring home treats for the kids! Sounds heavenly!
