How is the Transportation from the Courtyard Marriot @DTD?

Can some one tell me how the busses are from he Courtyard Marriot at DTD? Do they come on a set schedule, like every hour or half hour? Do they drop you off at the individual parks or to the T&TC. How early do the busses run?

Is it really in walkable distance to DTD?

I am staying there 2 nights at the start of the trip and I have a friend who is staying there the whole week. I would rather not drive once I am there.

I prefer the buses for the Downtown Disney hotels over the Disney resort buses *because* they have a schedule. The MK bus goes to the TTC. The other parks are served directly - depending on demand Epcot and MGM may be combined (the bus not the park)

We rarely use the park buses (driving is usually so much quicker) but *always* use the Pleasure Island bus.

To walk to Downtown Disney you have to cross the road at the lights outside the Courtyard and then walk past the Grosvenor hotel and a parking lot - then across more lights to the new toy store, Disney buses - whatever. It is about 600 yards. (It is further from the toy store to Pleasure Island than from the Courtyard to the toy store.)

One tip - the buses go to the hotels in turn. If you just miss a bus at the Courtyard cross over to the Grosvenor and catch it there.

I just got back from a stay at the Grosvenor and I think they use the same buses. I thought the transportation was on a regular schedule. Buses picked up at the hotel around the hour & half hour and picked up at the parks on the quarter hours (I think I have that in the correct order). I usually walked to Downtown Disney but took the bus back from the Pleasure Island area several nights.

The hotel buses drop off at all the individual parks except for Magic Kingdom. That one drops at the ticket & transportation center.

I had a great stay at the Grosvenor. I really love the Downtown Disney area.
