So excited! I am going to be spending 5 days in Paris; followed by 3 days/2 nights at DLP. Myself and a friend will be there from Friday, June 25th through the 27th. Our dates are set in stone because we fly to Milan to meet a group the evening of the 27th. I have always enjoyed these boards and am grateful for the DLP info! It is hard to find! Of course, I have questions!
1. We are probably going to stay at Sequoia Lodge since it is the cheapest with air conditioning. Any tips on this hotel? It is within walking distance of the parks, correct?
2. I am so frustrated with the website because it only goes through April so I am waiting for pricing. This will be the "high" season, correct? Have their been any specials in years past for this timeframe?
3. I know it may be busy since it is a summer and a weekend, but do you think we will be able to get the "bigies" done with EMH and FastPass usage?
4. We don't want to spend a ton of money, what are the best of the less expensive eateries?
Thanks in advance! We have been to WDW quite a few times and live 25 minutes from Disneyland so we are excited to finally get to an international Disney!

They sometimes do deals around this time, but this varies to what country you live in. All the on site hotels are within walking distance.
I like the Sequoia Lodge, breakfast times can get a bit busy but if you go for a 7/7.30 timeslot you should be fine. The queue moves quickly anyway.
I think the summer prices will be released soon. The pricing will be high season as its the weekend your staying.
I have always found Annette's diner to be good value or any of the buffets. Many restaurants do set menu deals so look out for them:thumbsup2
You should be able to get most of the rides done in the time frame your there as I think the parks will be open a bit later on the Saturday

Yes, i'd say easily walkable within 10 minutes through Disney Village.2.

The current UK brochure is available to download from the website. It shows summer prices. There are usually good deal throughout the summer.

Yes. Do Fantasyland during EMH and get fastpasses early. It is manageable. Most of the UK schools won't have started their holiday yet - but weekends are normally busier in general anyway.4.
We don't want to spend a ton of money, what are the best of the less expensive eateries?
Cafe Mickey can be done reasonably if you want to share a pizza. Otherwise the counter service can be ok throughout the park. We liked Toad Hall in Fantasyland, and Annettes can be done on the cheap too if you just choose a burger.

Lucky you!! Many on here have said that DLP has a similar layout to Disneyland, so you might feel quite at home!!

Think HoJo's - if you're familiar with the walk from HoJo's to Disneyland then it's about the same - fairly easy to walk but at the same time it CAN feel a little far if you're exhausted. There's a free shuttle bus if you need it though.
2. I am so frustrated with the website because it only goes through April so I am waiting for pricing. This will be the "high" season, correct? Have their been any specials in years past for this timeframe?
High season tends not to get too many offers in my experience...
3. I know it may be busy since it is a summer and a weekend, but do you think we will be able to get the "bigies" done with EMH and FastPass usage?
With 3 days/2 nights, it should be fairly easy to get everything done that you want to do. It's about as easy to get around DLRP as it is to get around DLR(C).
4. We don't want to spend a ton of money, what are the best of the less expensive eateries?
There's a buffet restaurant in the studios (think it's called restaurant des stars) that is nice and not too expensive. The Silver Spur steakhouse is a reasonable price, Annette's does a reasonable burger. There are also counter service options available :thumbsup2

I've answered your questions based on you being a DLR regular - hope this helps :thumbsup2

Welcome. I am a native Californian and have been to WDW a few times, with 50+ trips to DLP.
SL is a good choice, it is a moderate like Port Orleans at WDW, and is about the same distance to the parks as the DLH in Anaheim is.
It is not high season in June (the hours are shorter and there will be no fireworks or Fantillusion parade - those start mid July).
For budget dining (by DLP standards), McD's is in the village (we never go there), Annette's is good value in the Village though.
In the parks, Cowboy Cookout BBQ, Fuente Del Oro, Col Haithi's and Bella Notte are all winners, Toad Hall Fish and Chips are ok.
Although we think the table service, while more expensive in Euros, offer better value.
If you are really on a budget, the train station has some cheap offerings.
And you can hop the train to Val D Europe, the restaurants there are of a high quality and much cheaper than Disney.
