How long to wait until we get membership cards?

We closed on a resale in mid-Feb. DVC has allowed us to go ahead and book vacations. My question is how long it takes to get membership cards etc.--I have heard on this board that getting the cards is sometimes an issue. I don't want to "pester" MS, but is a month a reasonable period? Thanks

We closed with DVC at the VWL in mid Jauuary and have not received membership cards yet.

I think it usually takes 6-8 weeks. However, there was a problem with the people who closed in October. I believe that DVC was changing the company they used to do this, or something like that.

As a matter of fact, I closed in Oct and still have not received my cards. I called in January and they said that they would send me out new cards. However, I still haven't received any cards.

I closed last June and hadn't received cards by September. I called MS and they had them to me within 2 weeks. Give them a call - it won't hurt.

DH and I closed on VWL in January, and we still haven't received our cards. Our first trip isn't until September, so I'm not that worried.
