So I called the planning line just to get a price quote using my brand new PIN. No booking of course... had to talk to DH first. Next thing I know I'm giving my cc info for the deposit!

That was the deciding factor when he told me all the standard view rooms were already booked! I did the math and with the code it was only $500 more than a value for the same week and DH loved the WL. I am super happy since for our we are paying less than $100 more than our previous trip and DD was free on that one and she isn't on this one! Not bad!

Now I just need to find a deal on airfare!!

I'm about to do the same thing. Except for moving are trip from September to May. My dh starts a new job next week and he hasn't even talked to the guy about vacation. So I guess if he don't get one this year I will be taking the girls by myself. Airfare just went up 40.00 since yesterday so I don't want to wait any longer. The guy is suppose to call him today so I'm waiting on that phone call.

Airfare is the scary purchase! At least with WDW I can basically cancel last minute and only take a slight hit. Airfare is non-refundable YIKES!!!

I almost did the same thing yesterday, lol. I did manage to wait until he got home. I figured if I just booked it he'd be mad. So I convinced him to let me make a reservation where we can get a refund (ain't gonna happen, my foot is in the door and isn't shutting!) Yes ... I too was going to skip this year and plan for 2011 BUT for once in my life I got a PIN CODE. And it was an offer I could not refuse!! HA HA!

I told DH about it and had a 2010 calendar out (this was in 2009) and called and got the quote and pulled out the cc too! Now ... our vacation is just in three weeks! :thumbsup2

It's sooo exciting to plan ... and go too!
