Thinking of upgrading to NY is there any perks ? Is breakfast better ?
I know its closer to the parks as well, anything else ?

Cheers

Much nicer hotel in my opinion too!
You (or at least we got) sausages, bacon and eggs as part of the breakfast at HNY too :)

We decided to upgrade from NPB to HNY after asking the same question, people mainly said that while New Port Bay was nice it was very very big and you could be a 10 minute walk from just the lobby.

With two small children we thought we didn't want to risk another 10 minutes added to our trip to the parks.

Breakfast is also suppose to be better with hot choices being offered.

And the rooms are suppose to be a bit bigger.

You don't need to choose a time slot for breakfast at NY - I believe you do at NPB.

I've heard that the NPB is very, very big - and long walks within the hotel to the rooms are mentioned a lot on here.

You get free towels for use at the pool, a charge is made at NPB unless you are in an Admirals Floor room.

There is also room service and mini bar at HNY if that's of any interest.

I think the rooms are bigger at HNY too, and as already said closer to the village/parks.

But, i've never stayed at NPB so only going on comments mentioned on here.

I love the HNY and just wish I had a new ticker to go again.......

Thanks peeps.

I tried to upgrade earlier to the HNY but they said I couldnt, or if I did I would lose my free meals as that offer has past, they said upgrading a hotel is the same as making a new booking :confused3

It may make a difference to the free meals as I think they have premium vouchers for the HNY, i'm not 100% sure though

That would be right, as the free meals offer is no longer available as part of any booking (as of 15th December I believe) any upgrade you make now can't have your existing offer included.

No surprisingly you only get HB+ with the free vouchers, I was expecting premium, I'm sure it's premium when you add HB to your booking at HNY.

To the OP I'm a huge NPB fan, having had a superb stay there in 2006, so will let you know how I think the HNY compares. :goodvibes

Hi, we added the half board last year when staying at HNY, and it was only plus vouchers we got.

Hope you have a great stay :goodvibes
