DH and I have been 30+ times, most recently at the Contemporary June 2009 and the Boardwalk October 2009 for Food & Wine. We are especially excited about this trip because we will have 5 first timers in the group.

Monday - we plan to start at AK and hop over to DHS for EMH (DS3 loved the Playhouse Disney dance party last year; so, I wanted to be sure to catch that again)

Tuesday - plan to start at Epcot for a few hours and head over to DHS for the afternoon and evening--for Fantasmic

Wednesday- Epcot all day and plan to hop over to MK around 7pm for Spectro and Wishes

Oh, yes in deed. I was so excited when I saw when DD's spring break is going to be. My only issue was that DD goes to the charter school, and DS goes to school in Terrebonne Parish. But since it's PreK, he hasn't missed very much school, and his teacher gave us her blessing, we're taking him out for the week.

It's always fun when you run into someone you know at Disney.

Hi everyone: I want to get opinions on the Fantasmic Dining Package vs. the second showing of Fantasmic. Has anyone ever gone to the second showing of Fantasmic when it is offered? How are the crowds and the wait? I initially booked the Fantasmic Dining Package for May 25th so that my DD and I don't have to wait as long to get into the show (she is ADHD and mildly mentally challenged and does not do well with long lines). They have now added a second show for 2 nights of our trip. I have done the package once before and only had to show up 30 minutes before the show and it was great. But this time, even with the package, I was told to show up 60-90 minutes ahead of the show. Has anyone done the package recently? Or would I do better with the second show? We don't have a problem with the lateless of the second show. Thanks in advance for any opinions!

Thanks. That really does help me decide. I think I will cancel my Fantasmic package reserverations and go to the 2nd show. We will probably return to the hotel and rest up a little and then go back a little while before the show.

BTW, I noticed that you are from Golden Meadow. I have a lot of relatives that live in Cut Off and Galliano. In fact, all of my mother's family live there and we still visit from time to time. I love visiting there.

Hope you guys had a great time in WDW. It makes me even more excited about going when I hear about everyone's trips.

We will be heading out at 2:30 AM on May 28 (earlier if I can get everyone out the door), so we should arrive early afternoon. We may just spend the rest of the day relaxing out by the pool (having late lunch at Beaches & Cream) and maybe going to Downtown Disney.

I am SO EXCITED about the trip - I've already started putting things aside that we'll need. We still have 3 weeks, but have so much going on between now and the time we leave, I HAVE to start now. I pass up Koop Dr every day on my way to work. I work at Banner Ford in Mandeville. We are staying at ASMovies. The 28th will be my 5th Park ticket day so I'm not sure which Park we will be in that day. We may also hang out at the pool in the afternoon or evening. I have never been to Beaches & Cream, but have read alot about it. Maybe this trip I'll check it out. Have fun!!!

We went 450 miles before seeing the first St. Trooper (not that those are BAD at all...just we were really driven to get to WDW as soon as possible in the SAFEST way possible!

We were at Old Key West April 17th - April 24th. Had a fabulous time, all 14 of us.

We're going back, just DH and I and another couple, November 4th - November 9th for Food & Wine. Staying at the Contemporary, Tower Magic Kingdom view.

Ugh! My parents just got back from a 5 day trip on Sunday, and my sister's family left this morning for a 9 day trip. I can't believe I have five and a half MONTHS until our trip! I'm ready to go now!! On a positive note, ADRs are made, MVMCP tickets are purchased, and I'm calling today to pay off about half of what we owe. (Holding off on paying it all for a couple months to see what deals come out for November.) Guess now it's time to start making ride lists! Between the fact that DD will be under 40 inches, and most of the popular rides requiring DH to transfer me out of my wheelchair, we'll be making a lists of rides that we can easily do, what will require rider swap, what will require a transfer, and then prioritizing them.

I agree with you! We have been back about 2 weeks and miss Disney too. While we won't be going back to WDW in 2011, my daughter and I are taking a Disney Cruise in June 2011 on the new Disney Dream. Very excited about that!!!

We're headed down this week to stay at the Contemporary. We live in Covington. Can't wait to be back to see WDW, but I'm dreading the heat! Of course it's been really hot here at home, but it's not like we all walk around outside in the heat at home. Thanks for posting info in your TR for the Jamestown Inn in Clearview, FL! I'd like to leave after work & drive about 5 hours before stopping for the night. That place looks like a perfect spot for us! Plus, the pics & info that you posted are great!

Husband surprised me by telling me we could add 5 days at Disney to the Tennessee vacation we already had planned. I know you can hear me cheering anywhere in the state right now. :cheer2: PAUSE, so you can listen. Hear anything? I thought so.

Well, add us Louisianians to July 25 to the 30th. I know is will be Hot and Crowded but a hot and crowded day at Disney is better than a cool/ quiet day anywhere else!

Let me go I only have 15 days to plan and pack. I usually plan for months. UGH!!!
