View Full Version : Not enough dining credits--very "wordy" question (sorry)

We have a family of eight. Only one is a child on the DDP. We have a ADR at WCC, but I have thought about the possibility of walking down the hall to AP, instead (we love AP). We may end up short on dining credits if we do this. Here is what I am thinking: we save up a child's credit from another night where we let the six year old share from some plates--so we will have the two needed credits for him at AP and not have to worry that by paying OOP at there. If we just pay OOP for him, we will have a leftover child's credit at the end of the vacation (I hate leftover credits). Then, I am thinking about having the twelve year old order a kid's meal (for once during the week--instead of those huge adult sized meals he has to order on the DDP) and we would pay OOP for that. Then, I am thinking that I would use two dining points for my meal, (using up mine and the twelve year old's adult points) and then we would pay for DH OOP. For our other sons --two of them would use two points each for their meals and two we would pay OOP for their meals.

So it ends up like this:
one child and three adults are covered in credits on the DDP and one twelve year old is paid for oop as a child and two other sons and then my DH are paid for as adults on the DDP. This meal should potentially cost us only whatever three adults and a child would cost.

Has anyone else ever divided up their credits to do something like this before? How did it work for you?
