Hi everyone, we have arrived at AKV and it is amazing, I love the resort so much. Had a good flight, lot's of empty seats so DD got to stretch outl. Watched up on the flight which made me cry, not seen it before. Just going to relax in the room now as have an early start tomorrow at MK.

well it is 5am and I am up awake, however only made it to 7.30pm last night before falling asleep. DD is watching the Disney channel so I am just on the internet filling in some time .

We have seen some Animals however the sun was to bright to get any pictures.

What an amazing view!! And the room looks gorgeous! I was considering book a DVC room for our wedding trip but didn't know how different they'd be to normal ones.

I am definitely convinced!!!!

Hi everyone, had a great day at MK yesterday. It was cold in the morning, and riding BTM felt like we were at paris with the cold air against our faces however it warmed up by the afternoon. We met some characters and DD got pictures and autographs. Had a fun meal at 1900 park fayre. DD is enjoying meeting the characters more than the rides. Today we are going to epcot and will be meeting characters again and having dinner at Le cellier later.

The resort is fantastic, most friendly CM I have come across at a resort. DD prefers it to the GF now.:)

Torsie the studios are fantastic, lots of space. I don't know how I am going to stay in a normal hotel room again.

It's funny seeing people in coats, gloves and scarfs. I have only been before when it is red hot. We managed okay without coat and wore hoodies however felt chilly and my hands were freezing. In the afternoon it felt nice though and could get away with t.shirts.

Which trail are you on? We were on Zebra, and if you need to go to the pool/mara you are quicker to go in the lift to the door on that trail rather than out by Boma/Jiko, especially at busy times!

I am SO jealous - I love AKL so much. :) You are right, the CMs are wonderful.

We are on the Zebra trail right at the very end, luckily we never mind be furthest away from the lobby.

We had lunch at the Mara yesterday and went the main lobby way, I think I know which way you mean so will try it when we go for drinks soon.

The pool is shut the whole time we are here so we have to go to Kidani to use the pool, however as we are DVC we can pool hop to some of the other resorts.

I am so glad I brought my laptop as up early and DD is watching cartoons.

Lifts down by room 5436 on that map. Definitely quicker if you're on Zebra! Took us a few days to learn that one so I wanted to share the wisdom!!

(We were 2 floors below room 5314, so say hi if you see our door.)

Went to epcot yesterday and had a fantastic day. It was lovely & sunny and DD got to meet tons of characters. She met Marie who she has been wanting to meet for years, as she was her favourite when she was little. She also enjoyed meeting Alice and Belle who talked to her about books. She didn't like Mary Poppins because " she had a strange voice"

We had an amazing meal at Le Cellier, I had chicken which was lovely and DD had a steak which she said was the best steak she has ever had in a resturant, (not as good as her Daddy's though).

Today we are off to DHS, and hopefully DD will try ToT again.

If you speak to a CM they can probably let you in just as the previous group is leaving so you can walk straight through. :thumbsup2

She didn't go on ToT, went on RnR twice though. We are just have a break at the resort as we are going to epcot later which is EMH.

we are following you on fb too, but looks like you are having a great time!! my dd loved ToT but wouldnt go near RnR - we rode ToT about 20 times last year :rotfl2:

Thank you everyone. We are having a great time. Yesterday we went to AK and went on Everest once and DD wouldn't go on again. She is very imaginative so see things as real even though she knows they are not and she is also very sensitive so gets scared easily. She likes RnR because the themeing is not scary.

We spent the afternoon & night at the resort so DD could rest as we have had a few long days and have a late night tonight as we are going for dinner at epcot, off to DTD this morning.:)

Awww Claire, again I think DD is very brave to try the rides that she's doing anyway :) I'm sure once she's a little older too she'll be right back on there!

It is not as quiet as I thought it would be however it's okay. 30 minutes for RnR at 11am. They seems to be lot's of people however most lines are not to long.

I have had a lovely birthday today, went to epcot this morning and we did test track and then had lunch at world show case. I had a glass of champagne and DD had an ice cream at france. I then got a make up make over at france and then went to DSH to ride Rock N Roller coaster, however the queue was 40minutes and all the fast passes had gone, we got lucky though as a cm gave us 2 fast passes for it. We had dinner at Yachtsman steak house where I got a personilsed menu and a cup cake with candle. We came back after dinner as DD is tired and it has been a long day for her. Our last full day tomorrow and DD wants to watch whishes

We are on the 7.50 virgin to Gatwick. We have used the touring plans busy day guide so have not found it too bad. It's strange really there seems to be more people than usual but the lines are not too bad. We will be doing Kim Possible again at Epcot the kids love it! The kids and DH are getting haircuts at MK so no doubt will be covered in gel and mickey sprinkles!

Have fun at epcot getting your stamps!:)
