My Inlaws are visting Hilton Head and I asked them to stop by HHI DVC to check it out for us. They told us that there is a gate at the front. Did they go in the wrong entrance? Would they be able to stop by and check out the resort? Is there something I need to do?

Thanks,

WLL

There is a gate and supposedly only people with reservations are allowed in. They could always use the intercom that is hooked up to the front desk and request to look around the resort - however, I do not know what the policy would be for this. I guess it never hurts to ask.

We are here right now. I would suggest that they just park at Shelter Cove and walk over. The Gate is only to prevent cars from getting in. There is a pedestrian walkway.

We go over several times a year (it's only 30 miles from home). All you have to do is push the button on the call box and ask to be let in. They are very accommodating.

We like to pop in for lunch and getting a Mickey Premium from the gift shop.
