This is what I always like best about moving day for the Cheerleaders--we always get a lot of company dropping in to see the new house!

Hey, nice new home here. Am I still welcome? I know I've been AWOL for the past few weeks but between work, my new "neice" (Kevin's sister had a beautiful baby girl last month) and my "wonderful" sister (who tried to blame me for things she did, like the checks) I just haven't been on the computer much lately.
I hope everyone is having a great summer!
And thanks for sending Mom the flowers, I think it really made here day. I'm kinda torn about Amanda, I mean she is my sister but she really needs to learn to be more responsible and realize how much her actions affect the boys. And I am really unhappy about her trying to blame me for things she did (not to mention using my info when she got pulled over in Pennsylvania back in the spring- I still haven't quite gotten over that.) Also, I really wish that they had arrested her on a different day than my birthday- it kinda put a damper on the day. Honestly though, I believe jail is the best place for her right now, otherwise I really think she could end up even worse than she is now.
Anyway, I just wanted to stop in and say hello and that I hope I'm still welcome as a cheerleader.

Just a note to tell you I am new to the group and will be going to the Dolphin for the first time in October.

Four coworkers wanted to go again this year - we had previously used DVC points to stay at OKW but they felt bad because they didn't "pay". So this year with limited points available, we've decided to let Dreams give us a quote at the Dolphin. Price was GREAT and your recommendations from the past have encouraged me to give it a try.

So I am unofficially a newbie to the S/D cheerleading squad. Between Dan, Pandy and Ray all saying how wonderful it is, I can't wait to give it a try!

Welcome to scarlett and wdw....We are a bunch of people that all shared a passion for the S/D. We started on the Resort Board and somehow;) landed here on the CB. We have all become great friends, supporters, etc.etc.....I am sure that our founder Poohlovr and everyone else will give you some additional insight to our little group....

WDW - You will not be disappointed....I love both the Swan and Dolphin and try to return there as often as possible...Actually, we miss it so much we have decided to brave the heat and take a trip August 1....

Welcome to wdw4us and scarlett873 ! We are a friendly, fun group. We used to know some things about the SwanDolphin resorts, but, have found out from reading other threads, that we were wrong about that and never reallyknew anything. :rolleyes:.
We hope you decide to hang around. Just jump right on in.
There are a few rules, though...

1. Debbie gets picked on by everyone.

2. Bob (when he makes one of his rare appearances) gets NO respect. Feel free to notice his big feet, his carrot diet, his bad luck--anything you want (also, his heart of gold, but, you didn't hear that from me).

3. Cookie loves no man but Barry, so, please, don't ever bash Barry (except on the even days of the month, and the odd days of the weeks. Then it is allowed.).

4. If Michelle ever disagrees with me, I am always right and she is always wrong.

5. No clip art corsets or black leather outfits. We got in big trouble with those.....;)

5. Milo is male, but, sometimes is female (when his wife Laura posts under his name :p)

6.Always ask Ann for advice about noise making (And now "etc", too!) (I tell ya', I gotta move North! ) :teeth:

7. If we ever meet, when I walk into the room, everyone must rise and bow in my presence. Speak only when spoken to. And send those "taxes" to me in gold and green on the 15th of each month!

Stay awhile. Make yourself comfortable. This truly is "Where friends gather".

but i can tell you're a fun bunch...a little about myself...i love WDW...i'm engaged to the most wonderful and amazing man in the world (well, my world anyway!)...he was my high school sweetheart (started dating in 1988, broke up, found each other online and reunited last october!)...we're getting married sept 10 in orlando and honeymooning at WDW...have been trying to get to WDW at least once a year since 1995...reside in the indianapolis area...love WDW...was raised at disneyland...i have a fat cat...have i mentioned that i love WDW?...am also a gone with the wind fanatic...love WDW...hmmm....what else....oh yeah...i love WDW....

Good morning...oops - afternoon---
I regret to inform you all that the ETC that was keeping me away from here since Thursday night was NOT the northern air thingie. I have been SICK SICK SICK. Now I know some of you think I'm a little "off" anyway but I mean physically sick. Thurs night after the pizza and margaritas I posted I was a tad dizzy going up to bed but didn't think anything of it....end of a long day , ont he computer, ran upstairs, etc. (No NOT THAT etc). But when I got up Friday morning I had such an attack of vertigo that I fell (back on the bed fortunately), broke into a sweat, threw up (not much on an empty tummy) and I literally could not get upright without the room spinning around and making me nauseous. VERY scarey. Additional problem...FORCING me out of bed every hour or so...diarhhea! (Sorry for the graphic descriptions). Of course the dizziness and vertigo that hit while sitting up then crawling the 6 feet to the bathroom made me nauseous...have you ever had the kind of flu where you have to have the bucket in front of you while on the toilet? Yup, and this was even worse since I had to struggle to keep my balance while sitting...forget walking. Sent DH to work...he offered to stay home but just started his new job this week so I just had him stock me up with saltines, ginger ale and water and the cordless phone. Called the doc mid--afternoon and has DHcome home a little early to take me. The nuse on the phone says "Do NOT try to drive".. Lady, I can't even get to my kitchen never mind the garage, don't worry about me driving! Then on the way to the doctor DH closes the car windo on my right hand ring finger...OUCH...he didn't mean to of course and felt horrible but that made me burst into tears...so I was quite a sight at the medical building...no shower (couldn't stand up to take one) bed head...in my sweats...holding onto DH stumbling like a drunk from the vertigo. UGH. They gave me some meclizine for the vertigo and something for the nausea which I haven't taken because I figure the nausea was from the vertigo. The nurse practitioner was concerned that my BP was quite high 160/97 and wanted me back there this morning for a followup. I usually run around 100ish/65ish. SO I came home, took the meclizine, had a couple of pospicles and saltines in bed...slept through the night and this morning YES! I could walk to the bathroom and then even to the living room couch without holding on. I showered (yeah!!) and went of to the doc...BP was 115/70 so I guess I won't have a stroke or sumpin'. May have soemthing viral and or an inner ear thingie again :(. I was treated for Meneiere's Syndrome 7 yrs ago but it never gave me the vertigo/nausea like that.....just brief dizzy "spells".
DH has gone off to get DD....she spent the week with her father & stepmother....and since I can't drive all drowsy from the medicine I stayed here. He'll be not waitingon me if I he knows I'm weel enough to be down here on the DIS...so I must return to bed fefore he gets back ;)

Hard to believe that memorablel weekend was a year ago!!! Those mashed potatoes are soundign REALLY good right now, my appetite must be returning!
