So far, it has sucked big time. Here's hoping that the sun starts shining not only for me, but everyone.

What I find works best is dont dwell in it. Set a new goal or outlook and try to move towords that. At least that is what I keep telling myself. he he he......

With all that you do for everyone else, keep the faith. What goes around DOES come back around and things will look up soon.

Hang in there, Nikki. My personal theory is 2009 was so epically hideous that we're suffering BYH - Bad Year Hangover. I figure I owe 2010 a few more weeks at least to shake off the fuzzies, even if I can't be optimistic about the rest of the year yet.
Keep your chin up. We'll get there.

I like the Bad Year Hangover theory. Maybe that is the case.
After nearly a week of trying to get a response, my doctor finally called me back today (after my calling her TWICE). We have a new plan in place starting tomorrow. I'm really hoping it works this time.

Other than the Earthquake in Hati, we've got no place to go but up in 2010. 2009 was about as bad as it gets.

IWISHFORDISNEY is correct!
Without worthwhile goals we are all dead in the water!
Remember “Alice In Wonderland”, and Alice is trying to get home and she meets up with the calico cat? Alice asks: “Which way (path) should I go?” The cat asked back, “Where are you going?” Alice replies, “I don’t know”. The cat then seriously answers, “Then it doesn’t matter.”
Seems simple but it is very true. You must set your course and let nothing get in your way. (Not even yourself). It seems that you have a fine rep. and you have a lot of support. That speaks volumes to a stranger like me!
How are your goals? Do they include others? “Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
“He who does nothing for others does nothing for himself” – Goethe
When I look at all the money that I have lost, all the good opportunities that I passed on, and when I get overwhelmed with regrets, I spend time at the Children’s Hospital as a volunteer. After spending time with families and children with serious situations, it always seems to wake me up to the fact that as long as we have a tomorrow, today isn’t all that bad!
Hand in there kid! We’re behind you all the way!
(Wow, I haven’t got that serious in years! Must be the new vitamins! Scary!)
