Can We Purchase Our AP at AKL?

Will we be able to purchase our AP when we check in at the AKL?

And if we can, can we use our Disney Club Card to get a discount on the AP? Or do we have to buy at a certain location to get the DC discount?

sure you can...just go to guest services at the akl and they will do it up for you...the resorts honor your dc discounts on ap's.....have fun on your first trip!

You can get your AP's at guest relations at any of the 4 parks
make sure you bring your ID with you too.

And yes you can use your DC card at the guest relations

We just got ours a few months ago and saved hmmm around
$30 or $35 on 4 tickets not per ticket.

You can also order them over the phone from Disney Club. They will mail you the vouchers which you exchange at guest relations in the parks.

I went right to guest relations at the MK and got them. I was at first going to have vouchers mail to my home then I figured if I ever forgot the I can't run back home to get them. I was happy I did it that way, took an extra 15 minutes out of my time.:)

I'm confused. Earlier today, I posed a similar question and was told that I CANNOT purchase my AP at the resort and that it MUST be done at one of the guest services areas in the parks. Can anyone tell me if I can get my AP at the Poly or BC with my DC discount. It would be so much easier to purchase the APs at the resort. Thanks so much! Threehearts

I have allways got mine at guest relations at the parks last yr at MGM this yr Epcot.

Total time for 4 ticktes were about 15 min.

I know this dose not help you Threehearts
but somebody will know for sure.

You CAN't purchase AP's at the resorts...only as the above posters have said at the park entrances or at DD. The resorts can sell just about any kind of ticket other than AP's.

I definitely want to wait until we are there to purchase them, so I guess we'll just pick them up our first day at the parks :-).

I was told you can't purchase AP tickets at the resorts. I ordered them w/ my DC % over the phone and received the vouchers the following week.

Now my question is: **Can you activate the AP voucher at the entrance to EPCOT by the BC/BW back entry?? **

We will be getting to disney at night and may want to pop in to epcot from our hotel (BC) after we check in. (It will be a hassle to drive over to the main entrance since we could just walk!). I believe there are no busses that go to epcot from BC.

Yes, you can trade in your voucher for the annual pass at the International Gateway. :)

Do they have a place at the Gateway for the finger scan? I went to the front of Epcot the last time I did it but that was 2 years ago. Where is the new shop located? Thanks Denise

The International Gateway has the same equipment as the other park entries.

Your biometrics (finger scan) are set the first time you use it. There is no separate scan to activate it. If you have a voucher, you go to any ticket window and show your ID and they will give you the activated pass. Then you just take it to the turnstile as usual.
