Swan/Dolphin availabiltiy Jan, Feb, April or May?

I want to give my parents a gift certificate for three nights at the Swan/Dolphin. The gift certificate is only good till June 2003. Since the live 1 &1/2 hrs away, they can go on short notice. If they recieve this certificate at Xmas, will thier be availabilty in the Months of Jan-May? I assume that March is busy with spring break. I think they would go around lat January or Feburary. Any advice would be appreciated.

January and February (before President's Day) is usually a slower time at WDW however, the times vary for the S/D since there are a lot of conventions being held throughout the year at these hotels.

They more likely get full due to conventions and not because of WDW. You might want to call and see if a CM would help give you an idea of when they're full or when they're less busy. That's quite a nice gift!
