Available at the Disneyland main entrance ticket booths. The price for the 1-Day Park Hopper is $59 regular, $49 kids and are valid on date of purchase only. The test will run through Aug. 15th. The 1-Day Park Hopper can ONLY be purchased at the main entrance ticket booths.
It will not be promoted on the main entrance price boards. CM's are offering guests the opportunity to purchase it. California residency is not required.
I think it's a great idea :D

I think it's a great idea too and will increase attendance at DCA.

A good idea for someone only has one day but wants to check out DCA w/o missing out on DL.

I wil try this ticket next Aug 5.
Anyone know if a regular 1 day ticket can be upgraded to a hopper?

I don't know if you can still do it, but last time we were at DL and DCA and the lines were long, we got a fastpass at DL for splash mountain, then went back to our room for lunch by way of DCA for a fastpass to Grizzly River Run. After lunch we did Grizzly River Run then went right over the Splash Mountain and got on.

yep, you can still do that I did it two weeks ago. We went to DL, then DCA then DL the DCA then DL then DCA. If they ever look at the pass record they'd think we're nuts. Of course I renewed my AP on July 5th and I've already been 10 times so I guess I'm nuts as it is.

Just returned from California, and used the one day park hopper ticket.
It was great for me, visited the 2 parks the same day. Only Soarin' over California and California Screamin worths the extra $14.
We took advantage of the "free" fastpasses. The first thing in the morning was getting Fastpasses for Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, and got in line for Jungle Cruise.
Same thing in DCA, took fastpasses for Soarin, for Grizzlie River Rapids, and got in line for Screaming. Saved a lot of time.

If they give you DCA for an extra $9 (based on the new DL ticket price of $50 upcoming) you can basically get into DCA for the price of the old parking lot! They should've kept the parking lot!
At least the tram ride was fun and I loved dodging those orange cones!

Joe, no, as far as I know the test did NOT continue into this month.

My wife and I were at DLR on September 7 and they WERE still selling the 1-day park hoppers. They are now $69 and will let you in to both parks on the same day. We purchased DCA only tickets at first, but ran out of things to do by 3:00pm. So we upgraded to 1-day hoppers and enjoyed DL too.
