busy in aug/sept?

Anyone know how busy it is aug bank holiday week - its the last week before schools go back.
We normally go spring bank or just after easter, been at halloween week and that was so busy!
Our problem is that i'm limited to school hols but DD daughter is a uni now so we can't do the half term breaks any more when it's quieter.
One other question is anyone else finding this years prices high?

Hi we went there the last week in August last year,it was busy but manageable. We went for six days so plenty of time to do everything and we came home on the Bank Holiday weekend. The weather was gorgeous and we spent some afternoons lazing by the pool of our Hotel NY. We booked the holiday when there was an offer for 40% off so some offers may come up.

One year we were there over the Bank Holiday weekend and it was the last day of the summer season (late nights/fireworks/Fantillusion) on the Sunday and by the next day (Monday) the place was half-deserted. As the Bank Holiday will be at the very end of August next year so should coincide with the end of the season again I would say you would be safe to say the following week will be much quieter than the previous one.
