VWL booking question

This possible addon has really thrown me off. Let me explain.
If we don't do the addon, we will do either 4 days at VWL and get 2 cat. 10 rooms for a 3 day wonder cruise, or 4 days at BWV with a cat. 4 (of course I'd have to rent 5 points to accomplish this). With both of these options there would be no travel in 2004.
If we DO the addon, we would do the cat. 4 option with VWL, and have enough points for 2004. However, we would not be able to book the room yet as all of the points we have NOW would go to the cruise. I would book our 4 days at VWL when we closed on the addon. Thing is, by that time we'd be 10 months out or less (11 months out is next week).
Does VWL go so fast that I should worry about this? We would need a 2BR. I want to book the cruise ASAP. If DH does not make a decision by the weekend I'm going to assume we are not adding on and take matters into my own hands.

Remember, you do not have to use DVC points for everyone on the cruise. You can pay cash for the kids thus saving DVC points.

Thanks for the reminder Dumbo, we may have to go that route too. So many options! I'd just rather do the addon, LOL. And I LOVED the dedicated 2BR so the kids had so much room! Just hoping one is available when/if we close.

IMHO, you wouldn't have trouble getting a ressie for the end of June even if you had to wait until 9 -10 months out to book. Even if all the days weren't available, there would be lots of time for the waitlist to work.

My advice is to do what is right for your family regarding the add on. Don't let the possibility of not being able to book right at the 11 month window for this one trip be part of the decision. Best wishes!
