Help wanted please.

We are wanting to purchase an add-on of 25 points. Does anyone know if there are any closing costs if we purchase directly from Disney and does the price per point vary according to which resort the points are for?

If you buy from Disney there are no closing costs. The price is $72 per point no matter which resort you purchase. I don't believe any MB promotion would apply to a 25 point purchase. This would help defray your costs on a larger purchase but the price would still be $72 per point.

If you do decide to add points in the future, are the added points good for the next 41 years from the date of their purchase or do they only last until the end of your 41 year contract in the DVC? EXAMPLE: If I have 35 years to go in DVC and decide to add points. Do the added points last for 35 years or 41?

Last I heard, you could use the MB at VB for purchases as low as 25 points. I do not believe you can do this at HH or VWL.

A guide told me about 2 weeks ago that the minimum at VB was 50 points to use MB. The minimum otherwise is half of 100 points minimum.
