What is the chance of DCL reducing the price on the PC cruise in January 2011? I've noticed that the price hasn't increased since the cruise was announced but I also noticed they are not making CAT 11C (formerly CAT 12) cabins available to parties of 4. If they don't reduce prices, might they open up CAT 11C cabins for parties of 4?

I know they reduced early Med cruises and the TA in April. How about PC? It obviously has cabins availble, I just wonder how many?

Traditionally the Panama crossings have filled at premium prices. They are far easier on the air budget than the trans-Atlantic sailings, and have wonderful tie ins with WDW and Disneyland.

IF the ship isn't filling, the price will come down or you'll see things like 11Cs being sold to larger families. However, I wouldn't hold my breath--there are lots of people who see this as their "good bye to the Wonder," chance to do a long cruise on the Wonder, etc.

of course it all depends on demand for the panama canal repo. in 08 the two panama canal repo sold out really fast within a day or two. they opened up more bookings later but at a very high price. but in 08 dcl didnt have anything special going on just the two repo cruises. in 2011 the new ship is coming, they have med cruises and alaska cruises. so a lot of good cruises coming that year not like in 08 when they only had 2 special cruises.

thanks for the speculation. I wish my crystal ball was working so I could see what is going to happen with the pricing....and the stock market....and the lottery....

I couldn't book an 11C for a party of two. Booked an 11A.

I assume that because there is only one PC cruise they decided to price it so they'd make the same profit as two cruises. We were on the Aug 2008 PC cruise and paid about half the price.
