Hello,

My wife and I are going on a trip to Disney near the end of Summer. We are taking my wife's parents and her sister - so this is a total of 5 adults.

When we booked our hotel, we decided that the deluxe dining plan would be a good option since we would ensure that everyone has food, and we would have the costs taken care of before the trip.

According to the documentation that comes with the Deluxe Dining Plan, it appears that all members of our party will have full access to all of the meals. We were curious if there was any way to divide the dining plan evenly amongst each of member of our party. This would enable each person to keep track of their balances individually - and if they want to go to a signature restaurant, they could make that decision.

Also, if someone wants to save time by having a quick/counter service meal instead of a table service meal - is this option available? Obviously this would not be a good value, but we were curious.

Thanks!

The key to each room will have all the dining credits for that particular room on it. It's up to each person in that room to know and keep up with how many credits they have. Just tell each person how many credits they are entitled to and then it's up to each person to keep up with how many they use. Disney will not assign each person's credits to individual room keys. Everyone has access to all dining credits assigned to that room. If you are not sharing a room with your in laws then they would not have access to your dining credits, only the ones assigned to their room. Depending on whose room your sister in law shares, she will have access to their dining credits as well as hers. Dining credits are assigned according to who is in each room.

As far as your second question: The DxDDP does not have table service and counter service credits. It has just meal credits which can be used for either table service or counter service meals. If you and your wife want to go to Le Cellier and order appetizer, entree, and dessert while your in laws want to go to Casey's and get a hot dog and cracker jacks, you can do so, but you will each use the same one credit off your DxDDP.

If your in-laws are booked in a separate room, with a separate room reservation number from yours, they will not have access to your credits and you will not have access to theirs. However, each person should carry a key card from their own room to get access to their credits. If you are all at a TS, you will not be able to use a card from your room to buy dining plan meals for all five party members.

If you go to the creative disigns board there is someone who makes dining plan punch cards for each person in your group that can be used to help keep track of all their table credits and also snack credits. It is a really great way for everyone to know what they have left, and also helps so that no one uses someone elses credits.

Since we are staying at one of the Villas at Saratoga Springs, we will all be under the same reservation. I think the creative punch system sounds good.

Thanks for all of your help!

At the bottom of each receipt will be how many credits used in that trasnaction and the balance for that transaction type (if you buy a snack credit, then the receipt will show how many snacks purchased and how many credits remaining)

You can also go to the front desk and get a printout of usage

Nothing worse than hitting that final day and finding out someone bought a hotdog and used a meal credit when you are at a signature :upsidedow
