This time last year I was in DLP

This time last year I was relaxing after a lovely buffet dinner in Inventions :lovestruc ...ahh those are the memories that keep me going.

I haven't posted on this board for a while but occasionnally I popped on to read a trip report or two....just to get that buzz back...you all know what I mean ;)

As I only visit DLP on a 2 yearly basis I got kinda depressed thinking when will it be my turn to go again.Well the wheels of action are in motion and I know it is a loooonnnnggggggg time away but for my 40th in Feb 2011 Rod, J, Mac and Me will be going back for our third visit. I only wish it for for my upcoming birthday......but as we all know time flies.

Looking forward to planning with you all again

2011 will be here before you know it and look on the bright side, you've got 13 months to enjoy the anticipation!! :wizard: :wizard:

Funnily enough, so were we (in colder weather than this!!), hence i keep flicking on and off the boards. We're the same as you, that as much as we would love to go more often. we are going to leave it for a year or so as we have other hols as well and can't afford everything!:sad2:

DH keeps saying that he won't go in winter time again, but after telling him that last jan was just freak temperatures, I'm not sure the current climate is supporting my argument!:confused3

Yep, I'm the same, I don't come on the boards properly for ages after I get back from a trip, although this time I had two trips booked so didn't need to disappear after our New Year at DLRP - I'll save that trick til August :lmao:

I couldn't do that time of year again, maybe late January but never early January again.

It was freezing but I loved how quite the park was and the snow just made it magical.Its also a great excuse to drink lots of hot chocolate:thumbsup2

It didn't help that I had horrific toothache brought on by the cold all week. I agree about how quiet it was, but then I remember how the rides would suddenly close, waiting for the parades that didn't happen, the wet feet, the absolute bitter wind whipping on my face..... nope, I'll stick to the warmer weather :thumbsup2

I'll never forget the CM telling me and DD that Fantillusion was on and then 2 mins later it was cancelled and DD bawling her eyes out.
