Thursday 3rd December
We both had a lay-in this morning. We got up and had a quick coffee before driving to Joanne’s where Theresa bought more fabric and some Xmas ornaments while I had a wander around Marshalls and got a couple of shirts.
We passed Applebee’s on the 192 which we have been meaning to try so we had an early lunch. We shared a spinach and artichoke dip for starters which was delicious. I recommend you try it if you get the chance.

We both had the Orange Chicken bowl for our main and agreed we were too stuffed to manage a dessert.

We hadn’t been to Wal-Mart for a while so we popped in there next. Theresa picked up some fabric remnants and some food items like cake mixes to take home. We were in there so long I needed a coffee and I got one from the in-store McDonalds. Theresa had one as well. Hers came from the first pot but they had to brew a new batch for mine. It was horrible; I couldn’t drink it. I took it back up to the counter and gave it back to them; they were surprised I didn’t want a replacement. I couldn’t be bothered to wait while they brewed another batch which could have been just as bad.
We went back to Barefootin’ and Theresa packed, and re-packed and re-packed some more while I had a nap.
Early evening we went to Downtown Disney as we thought it would be quiet this week. We were wrong; it was almost as busy as it had been last week. We bought a few more quiz prizes and I got a Christmas present for Theresa. This meant we’d spent enough to get the throw for $15 which we did. We now have one each to keep us warm on these cold winters’ evenings.

While we were at Downtown we went to guest services and made an ADR for Friday lunchtime at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I asked the lady about a picture frame we needed to match the ones we already have and she told us that the guest services in World of Disney have a computer system that can tell you where items are in stock. We found out that they had some in stock at Disneyquest so we took a walk and we now have a frame for this trips photo.
Typically we spotted the correct frame at several other places after we’d bought it.
After Downtown we called in at Denny’s for a quick sandwich and coffee before going back to Barefootin’ and bed.
