for my 19 year old son,:( took him to emergency on Sat. had his appendix out, turns out he might have chrones disease,and it wasn;t the appendix, he has been in alot of pain and being subjected to alot of tests ect.. he has always been healthy- this is really hard to deal for all of us- i would appreciate any prayers you can give! thank you so much! gooy4mickey48

I'm so sorry to hear this. The same exact thing happened to my cousin when he was a teenager. He's 26 now, and hasn't had any problems in years. Good luck to your son. I hope his outcome is just as good.

Prayers already said for your son. My dad had Chrone's for a long long time. Diet helped him a lot along with the meds the dr gave him. He was pretty much symptom free after a while. I was young and I dont remember a lot of it. Here's hoping that your son can get his under controll quickly.

You guys are so kind, all your prayers and well wishes have helped me so much! Well when I saw him in the morning with the tube down his nose into his stomach pumping out the contents, he looked at me and started crying -I had a hard time keeping it toghether- I kept praying hard all day, along with your prayers, and others, I believe God answered and was merciful to us !!!!After the test the doctor told me when he had the cat scan initially, it showed inflammation of the bowels, after this test she said no inflamation they looked healthy!!!!!!!!:) :) She took a biopsy just in case, but doesn't think it's chrones! I think all our prayers were answered!!!!!!!!! tommorrow another test barium x ray but he looked so much better today! thank you again would appreciate your continued prayers!! goofy4mickey48:

I'm keeping your DS in my prayers. I went through something very similar to what your son is going through. I had my appendix out, all kinds of tests...they thought I had Chrones...but it turns out after many tests later(Upper & Lower G.I., Bariums etc.)... that I have Diverticulosis.
Maybe you could suggest skipping all the Barium tests (I also had these) and just get a Colonoscopy...that shows everything.
It's really not as bad a test as it sounds and this way he will know for sure if there is anything wrong.

everyone thanks again for your prayers, still don't know what's the problem, his lower bowels are not working he cannot eat or drink water it's been 2 days ,his stomach is loaded with gas, we are trying to get it to work naturally. I really appreaciate your continued prayers ! ds and I went to the hospital chapel this afternoon and prayed. thankyou lynn cc I will make that suggestion,I requested they not do the barium xray today cause he's so blocked up the barium would not pass through. he had his appendix out very early last Sat. morning a very long and painful week thanks again for your continued prayers goofy4mickey48
