Morning all!

Congrats on 4000 posts Jennifer!

School is canceled today, so I'll be late for work--with a valid excuse this time! Can't leave the kiddos here, gotta wait until DH gets home from work, and hope the roads are passable by then.

Not much on my list today:
start laundry, since I have extra time
unload dishes
get ready for work
eat breakfast
work
leave work before roads get bad again
DS6 basketball practice (might let DH handle that one)
scrap at least one page

I'm going to call that good enough for today. Have a good Tuesday everyone, and stay safe!

Hoop de doo! Today - after talking about doing it FOREVER - we just sent off our passport apps/renewals for our summer DCL cruise!

As Z2H says..."Now, it is beginning to feel real!"

Doing well on the "computer cutback" time, and on the Ban Wagon - who'd have thunk it?

Also committed to cleaning two things a day that don't get hit as part of our usual cleaning routine - this is going well and people are actually noticing and remarking how nice X or Y now look! Well, that encouragement will keep me going for awhile!!! :thumbsup2

Oh Pam, how exciting! We are doing our passports in March, just in case (it's closed loop so we don't neeeeeeeed them, but if something were to happen, I'd like to know we can get home). I'm still (not so patiently) waiting for JetBlue and Southwest to open up their flights!

BernardandMissBianca

Holly hope you are feeling better!

Yay for passports!! I think DH and I need to re-up ours before our cruise. Best check that out soon.

OK - went to michaels here - quite a few punches in the clearance section. I am not really into them but I know some off you all have been looking for certain punches. If you are still searching let me know I can go back and scour the shelves and baskets.:thumbsup2

MM2000 wasn't it you looking for the sock monkey?? We got a gift this year with a fabric sock monkey ornament tied to it. Was thinking of you. You could surprise DD with it?

Exactly the same situation for us - don't REALLY need them for this cruise, but it will make things a bit easier. Plus, maybeeeeeeeeeeeee there will be another trip/cruise in our future that we WOULD need them for, so we'd be all set. Already thinking bounceback, baby!

I keep checking JetBlue for you too (!) - they haven't yet budged off that Halloween date!

froze the left overs. YUCK O Jennifer you'll have to come up in the fall we always have liver on butchering day.

We had beef stronganoff. Thank god today was done we also preped 80% of tomorrows meal. It will be early to bed tonight. Hump day tomorrow!!!!

I took out dinner fixins for Tom to deal with on top of swim practice and a ball game. Dad has the second part of the surgery so I will be headed there after work. I'm hoping he'll be in his room and stable so I can make the game, but he doesn't have to be at the hospital till 7 so surgery isn't till at least 9 and the dr cleared his schedule for the day so I'm thinking it will be a looooong day.

You have four wake ups to feel better but I do hope it doesn't take that long.

It really does make things easier. No need to take out wallets each and every time to pull out id. I hold the passports, DH is always with DD standing off to the side (she can't handle being that close to people in lines for a long time). I show the passports, we all can go thru. I don't need to worry about putting licenses away, wondering if I can back DH's license or not, etc.

When you open the drivers door from the outside the latch doesn't release inside door, so when you close it, the door just slams up against the bar and doesn't latch. You have to open it from the inside.

there is a service call about it so I'm not the only one it's happening to. They ordered new parts and will have them in on Thurs or Friday.

I got Princess a sock monkey for Christmas. Thank you for thinking of me! ACM has all sorts of sock yarn now. They have an adorable sock monkey. I wish I knew how to knit.
