Mr. Ray I saw where you decorated you balcony during the Dis-Con I convention. I think that is such a great little extra just for the season. Would you mind if I copied you?---Must I get an OK from the resort or do I just go for it and hope they won't ask me to remove it? Thanks for the help. Hi, Patty. Are you kidding...lol...that would be great. I've been decorating my room windows with christmas lights for years when I go to Walt Disney World in December.
For years, at the WDW Dixie Landings Resort (now called Riverside), I used to see many windows of the resort rooms decorated with christmas trees, or christmas lights, etc.. So that is when I started the same thing.
Last year was the first year that I have ever stayed at the WDW Dolphin Resort. And I guess that most guests don't do that. I was so thrilled to have such a beautiful room with a balcony. Every night and early morning, I would sit out on the balcony. I was very lucky to have such a wonderful room.
If you ever visit the WDW Old Key West Resorts, you'll see a lot of balconies dressed with christmas lights.
I've never actually stayed at WDW near Christmas Day, but I have read that many people decorate their rooms with christmas trees and celebrate Christmas at WDW on Christmas Day.
If they asked me to take them down, I would, of course. But in December, there are christmas lights everywhere at WDW...lol.
I can't wait to see you in December at DIS-CON-II.

Thanks for the info. Guess I'll start looking around for a window decoration---incase I don't get a room with a balcony. See you in Dec. PattyN
