Which Charity are you running for?

Hey Gang. There's a thread of what we're wearing race day. I'm a WISHer who is running for a charity so I won't be in lime green. Everyone post which charity and what you'll have on on race morning.

I'm running for Miracle Marathon in a Red MM shirt. And since I'm very confident of Thursday night's outcome, I'll also be wearing a University of Alabama hat to celebrate a National Championship! Can't wait to see everyone!!!

I am running/walking the Goofy for Rally Foundation - for Childhood Cancer Research. And both days I will be wearing a red tech shirt with the Rally Athlete logo like in my signature with black tight long running pants with hot pink on the side - I know not really matching with the red shirts but they are the only pants I have.

I am so happy that just this past weekend my dad donated and made me go over my goal. Its not as much as most charitys require but I still feel good about doing my part to help out. I am grateful for each and every person who donated - I was lucky enough to have a friend go around work collecting $1-$10 from people around work.

It always feels so good to hear "Go TEAM," but wearing that jersey means I can't wear the WISH shirt and share that bond with the rest of you. I do try to cheer for each WISHer I see, so if you see a Purple Person cheering "Go WISH", that might be me!

I'm not running at all - was too late to sign up! - though I'll be out on my balcony at the Beach Club cheering all the marathoners on to the finish. But a friend of mine really wanted to participate, so I did some research and found this charity still had spots available in the 5k, and she signed up. I've been really impressed with the organization since she did!
If you're at the dinner tomorrow evening, perhaps I will see you.
(I don't post on here much, but I do a lot of lurking and have run in the ToT13k the past two years and the Everest 5k (muddy buddy???) this year)
